Levels of learning

Assessments

We have 7 different levels of learning:

• Explorer
• Beginner
• Improver
• Intermediate
• Advanced
• Whizz Kid
• Whizz Kid+

Your child is constantly assessed throughout the term so that they are working at the right level for them. Your child will not know they are being assessed as it is part of the normal lesson. Each child will progress at their own pace but in general your child will increase a level each term. You will receive an information pack when your child starts as well three reports throughout the term. These will show you the level that your child is working at.

In the first report, you will receive a web-link containing information about the different Click IT! levels, an activity sheet showing an overview of the activities for the term together with detailed lesson plans so you can follow what your child is learning.

We understand that it is difficult for us to provide information about your child on a weekly basis, but if you ever have any specific questions about the progress of your child, please call our office and will will try to help you.

All our assessments are made for the sole purpose of grouping children in similar working groups and to show a steady progression in their computer sessions. They are intended as a guide only and they are in no way a reflection of their learning ability at nursery or in any other respect.
